Italy opened my eyes to a wonderful way of life. I am here help travelers experience the best of the Veneto, Dolomites, Tuscany and beyond. An art history teacher, nature lover, foodie & licensed tour leader, I have 25 years of experience traveling and living in the north of Italy. I lead small-group travel experiences in Venice and teach Art History field studies in Florence. For Aurora Adventures Italy, I craft itineraries and arrange special group tours to hidden gems throughout the country.

Before we start to design your itinerary, we like to get to know your travel style and the reason for your journey. We also invite you to create a must-see wishlist so that we can craft the best possible Italian experience for you.

STEP 1: THE OVERALL ITINERARY
We work together to put together the overall itinerary. With your input, we make suggestions to help you fill your trip with activities and places you’ll love. Use our itinerary page to help you discover your travel style and the types of journeys that might fit best for you.
STEP 2: ACCOMMODATIONS
Whether it be a luxury hotel, a boutique hotel, a spa, a farmhouse, a villa, Airbnb, mountain rifugio, knowing your preferences is also important in this stage. We’ll send you specific recommendations for accommodations that we believe are a good fit considering your specific preferences, your budget, excellent central locations, and availability for your specific dates.
STEP 3: GUIDES, TOURS, AND ACTIVITIES
This is where the fun begins. We know what your top priorities are now, such as the visit to the Sistine Chapel and wine tour or cooking class in the Tuscan countryside, for example. Now we begin to work with the details. Here is where our recipe for experiencing Italy comes into play: great monuments and works of art, local cuisine, adventure, and time to relax and restore.
STEP 4: LOGISTICS
We want your journey to run as smoothly as possible and to help you avoid expensive tourist traps and discover how to best travel from one place to the next. We can help you find drivers, boat tickets and train tickets, and other important logistics.
STEP 5: FOOD AND RESTAURANTS

Food is one of the best reasons to visit Italy! Experience the authentic culinary traditions of each region. Knowing your food preferences, intolerances, allergies, and desires is important for this step. Let’s find the right cafes and pastry shops, pizzerias, aperitivo spots, Michelin-star restaurants or casual dining places for you. We like to embrace the Italian meal schedule and choose places that give you a sense of the land and the food history.
